Pisano Pájaros Pintados, Torrontes (Case of 12) Case of 12

Product Description

Uruguay means River of Painted Birds in the Guarani native language. Millions of colourful birds live freely in natural wilderness. Among boundless slopes where cattle peacefully graze, there is a land of thousands of small rivers where fish is abundant. Uruguay has the same latitude as the best wine-growing regions of the Southern hemisphere. It's cool climate, rolling hills and Atlantic ocean make it ideal for fine grapes.

A fresh and lively Uruguayan torrontes with a pronounced bouquet of flowers and citrus. Grown on calcareous clay soils which gives the wine an elegant character. The palate is crisp and dry with notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, blossom and lemon zest. Well balanced and easy drinking with a fresh, fruity finish.

Hand picked and estate bottled by Pisano family vineyards using Torrontes grapes.
