Domaine Andre Neveu, Sancerre Blanc (Case of 12) Case of 12

This wine is made from vines from a uniquely limestone terroir. Round and fat in the mouth, this is a well balanced wine.

The fruit forward first nose is dominated by citrus and stewed fruits. Then notes of pepper and fresh greenery (rhubarb and broom) lift the aromatics.

This wine has a lightness of touch on the mouth. Then a lively vivacity fills the mouth. The evocative aromas of melons and ripe lemons add to the already long finish. A great example.

Excellent drunk young, as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment to seafood, or fish cooked in sauce.
